I posted some pictures of my trip to Toronto, Anime Expo, and Indiana dunes

Then pictures of Vegas and of the Classic Gaming expo.

I usually travel with Ted, who doesn’t really like taking pictures or being in them, so most of what you’ll see is just the scenerey with some random people.  I had an old camera and disposable camera for these trips so the quality isn’t too good.

Now I have a better camera so future trips can be remembered more clearly.

iPhone

The iPhone comes out today.  There’s been a lot of iHype about it. So I wonder if anyone I know can actually afford to get one.  It’s about $600 for the phone and $80 for the monthly service.

Word is that people are waiting in line to get one.

I think I’ll wait for the prices to drop and until you can get it with a carrier other than AT&T/Cingular.

I used to think that something I heard from a preacher or that circumstances alone led me to God. God has revealed to me thru a quote of the Narnia series from Aslan:”‘You would not have called to me unless I had been calling to you,’” said the Lion.”

It was thru this statement that my eyes were opened and I realized that when I came back to God a year ago, that I had not gone back because I felt it was necessary on my own, I had gone back because God was looking for me. Speaking to me. Loving me. Not that God can’t use preachers and circumstances to speak to you, but that the preacher and the circumstances can only take you to God if it is the Spirit of God that is in them to begin with.

I now realized even when I had first become a Christian it was because God had called to me. Gently speaking my name in a way that only he could.

Everyone that could possibly call themselves a Christian has experienced this. Maybe they haven’t realized it yet, maybe this doesn’t make any sense but to this I can only say Let him who has ears to hear, let him hear.

Has anyone else experience a revelation such as this? Did you realize this right away or did God patiently reveal it to you?
