Politics and Me
When I started blogging I had no intention of posting as much as I have about Politics.
Quite frankly I post links because I think they reflect a side of things that is often neglected in the regular news. Or I simply find it interesting or worth attention. I wanted to provide that to anyone that wanted it.
This is my last post on politics for a while. I’m busy and would rather post on other things but when it comes to Politics it’s too easy to get carried away and I want to write on other topics too.
I also want to do more about Politics than just writing or posting links about it. Not for the sake of Politics but because I really do like America and I want it to succeed.
I think a letter or an email is in order I just hope I have the time to write one up so that it may still have an impact. In fact it may something along the lines I am writing here. My last Political based rant for a while:
—
I don’t want a “Stimulus Package” or regulated Market.
I want less taxes and a Free Market.
My understanding is that right now our economic problem is that the Freddie and Fannie have been regulated or advised into making loans to people who couldn’t pay them back. These guys in charge either lie to us or foolishly claim the problems are from a lack of regulation when it was their advisement or regulation that caused this problem

Instead of letting the cycle finish and letting this balloon burst so we can rebuild again, they keep bandaging it up with money we don’t have that must be paid back someday and placing us into a spiral that keeps going deeper. This reckless spending needs to stop.

Anyway, I’m sure after a few weeks I’ll post links and write up politically incorrect things again. But for now I’m done.
If you want links to some good blogs and news sites with these topics to keep you up to speed here’s what I got.

Besides we have an even bigger fish to fry than government issues. I think a lot of these issues are a symptom of our true problem. That problem is a matter of the heart. Our true problem is spiritual. And that is a topic for a later blog.
Later.
Update- I put months down instead of weeks. I can’t keep my mouth shut that long. I don’t know what I was thinking. So I changed it to weeks. Also I added a few more links. Thanks.
